After days and days of rain,
the sun has finally appeared
and it is gloriously hot. Yesterday it was 27'C!
I have been busy in the garden hanging out the baskets
and planting up the patio pots.
I'm not the only one who has been busy!!
The Aquilegias are flowering. Such pretty colours!
The garden is alive with bees.
I've tried to photo the different types, but they move so fast from flower to flower!
The bees also love the Hardy Geraniums.
The Alliums are beginning to bloom this week.
As are the Bearded Irises.
The Viburnums are putting on a show
each side of the garden
and Niobe is in full flower by the patio.
Other flowers aren't so showy, but I love this Tellima Grandiflora that has seeded itself throughout the garden
and the Dicentra Alba.
Maurice sat on the fence watching me take these photos,
but he is in my bad books today as he killed a squirrel and carried it indoors!! Poor squirrel. :(

Your garden is beautiful. Great to see the sun again, it really lifts my spirit xx
Ooh naughty Maurice! Our Pansy is just the same - a few baby birds have been left on the driveway. Your garden is looking Glorious!
Victoria xx
My, my, my . . . your garden is amazing! I can tell that you put a lot of love into it. I like your humor, too (the busy ladybugs).
I am your newest follower, and I would like very much to invite you to visit and hopefully follow me, too.
Have a lovely weekend, Connie :)
Thank you for your comments, I'm just loving my garden at the moment - as you can probably tell! :) Victoria - Pansy is a gorgeous name for a cat. It is sad when they catch something, but it is part of their nature - I'm quite used to having gifts of mice and rats, but I draw the line at squirrels! Luckily they don't catch birds very often.
Welcome to my blog Connie and thank you for the invite - I will pop by soon.
Best wishes, Pj x
