A Different Way to Celebrate a Birthday!

Throughout June the garden continued to bloom. 

The birthday season continued with first my birthday then our son's.  I made him a giant Battenberg cake for his birthday.

Then Covid finally caught up with us, a gift my husband brought home from work, so for his birthday I made him a cake with a difference! :)

 Day 2 - Seahouses, Farne Islands & Bamburgh

We started the day with a walk along the beach at Seahouses whilst we waited for the boat to take us to the Farne Islands.
