The Great British Summer!

 It has rained and rained and rained here recently - I think the drought is over now!
One day the rain was torrential and we had some flooding.

It was the worst that I have seen around here.
We have had some sunny spells
 and Ella has enjoyed sunning her whiskers in the back garden.
 All this rain hasn't been kind to the roses;
 they are looking a little battered.

In the spring, I re-planted my flower bed in the front garden and it doesn't seem to have minded the rain at all.

In fact, I think it has helped as everything has looked very lush.
Sorry I haven't been around much recently, we have been very busy and I will post about that later this week (now that I have a breathing space!), but now I'm off to work.  Hope you all enjoy your week, Pj x
