... also known as Mothering Sunday, the day when traditionally girls in service were allowed to visit their mothers, taking with them a gift of a Simnel cake.
I had already delivered my Mum's gift and card on our recent trip to Norfolk. As soon as I saw this card I knew it was appropriate for my Mum, as this time of year she is often in her greenhouse sowing flower seeds and pricking out seedlings.
Jay gave this cute card to me
and these delicious chocolates. Most of the chocolates have been shared already. I think it is very sweet that although he calls me Mum, he still writes Mummy on my cards and gifts. He may be 17, but he is still my baby boy. :)
On the subject of cards, I couldn't resist this one for my Brother-in-law's birthday this week! :)
Obviously I am biased! ;) Best wishes, Pj x

I always wonder how NZ, Australia and USA end up with their Mother's Day being held in May or why the auK needs up with theirs in March? Must find out.
Mothers are such a treat.
