I've been so busy recently that I haven't had time to visit Blogland - I guess it is just that time of year! :)

I couldn't resist these cake decorations when doing the grocery shopping. Such sweet little gingerbread men!

I finished my beret and wristwarmers just in time for our day out on Saturday.

We were in London for the day with my BF and her husband. We spent most of the day at The British Museum and then looked at the Christmas lights.

Feeling rather jaded after a long, long day in London, so we stayed at home and I managed to make a cushion pad for my new crocheted cushion.

At work and I completed a new display in the library. Someone please stop me when I have one of these bright ideas, such as cutting out a map of the world! It took so long!

Wednesday morning my parents arrived to stay with us for a couple of nights. They brought these lovely pink chrysanthemums from their greenhouse for me.

I finished putting up the Christmas decorations. Lots of tinsel this year! I think I may have gone overboard with it! ;). Feeling very Christmassy!

Our new mugs. My Husband had a little incident with my Starbucks mug recently, so I bought this set as a replacement. (I'm not mentioning that I broke his mug earlier this year!)
