Cambridge

J (our son) and I recently visited Cambridge for a couple of days.  The first day we did some sightseeing around the city centre and its university colleges.

As well as from the street, each college can be accessed via its own bridge over the Cam.  This area is called The Backs.

As you can imagine, that was a lot of walking!

My feet were glad to get to my hotel room!

Still full from our lunch out, we opted for taking something back to our room for later that evening

and for a little something extra to help with the knitting! ;)
