Our reason for heading into London was so that I could attend the Knits About Winter, by Emily Foden, book launch at Loop that evening. We decided to make a day of it, a mixture of shopping, sightseeing and staying late to see the Christmas lights.
We started at Covent Garden.
I wanted to see the new window display at Loop during the day, so we hopped on the Tube and headed to Islington.
Next we headed down to the Thames for a walk along the banks.
We crossed the river via Tower Bridge.
Time to return to Loop for the book launch.
