Unravel
Each year I attend the fibre festival Unravel, which is held at Farnham Maltings.
I met my friend Deb, @tinkhickman and we had arranged a mini swap. These were the pretty minis that I received from Deb.
We had a lovely time catching up as we wandered around the festival. The Maltings is such a charming building, with many rooms to explore and lots of gorgeous yarn to squish!
Afterwards I went for a walk around Farnham.
Two days later I was back again, this time with T.
I rather like going to a fibre festival for a second day as there are always things that I have missed the first time around. This time I spotted two designs by my friends; the Fragment Socks (left) by Helen @Curious Handmade and the Cyril Socks (right) by Dani @littlebobbins
It's also a little dangerous on the purse! :)
The resident cat was very friendly.
I was quite restrained in my purchases, at least I think so! ;)
Back home I quickly knitted the bracelet from this kit, adding some cables.
On the Saturday between my visits to Unravel, my husband and I when to RHS Wisley. The weather was amazing and the warmth had brought out the scents of the spring flowers and blossom like I have never experienced before. It was amazing!
Inside the glasshouse there was a Lego safari.
If you would like to see more of what I have been up to in February, I have uploaded a vlog to my Youtube channel.
