Early May, we packed the car and drove west. On the way we stopped at the pretty town of Topsham on the estuary of the River Exe.
We had a lovely walk around in the sunshine,
before continuing our journey to our accommodation for the next couple of weeks.
We stayed in a converted barn on the Devon side of the Devon/Cornwall border.
It was a very comfortable place,
