Willow and Hare Workshop

 At the beginning of November, I was lucky to be able to attend a quilting workshop hosted by Becky of Willow & Hare Stitching.  The workshop was held at Whitchurch Silk Mill, a heritage mill preserving the craft of silk weaving.The workshop was for Becky's Running in the Meadow quilt.

It was a two day workshop that included a kit & tuition by Becky,

who had made a lovely brooch for each of us,

 

 a tour of the mill

a talk about the Jane Austen House silk ribbon collection.

and a weaver's cream tea,

all in a delightful setting decorated by Becky.

I made a start on the centre of my quilt.

All too soon the weekend was over and we went home with happy memories, a quilt to sew and a few purchases. ;)
