Can this really be the middle of July? Yesterday it rained so hard!
Mrs Blackbird had the right idea; she sheltered in the Mahonia, by our kitchen window, eating the berries.
I stayed in the kitchen baking. Definitely the right place to be!
Boiled Fruitcake :: Banana Loaf :: Apple & Nut Loaf :: Cranberry, Pecan & Chocolate Cookies
It is the first time that I have baked the Apple & Nut Loaf. The recipe said 170'C and knowing my oven I cooked it at 140'C, but it still caught a little on one edge.
This week on the craft front I completed and posted my parcel to Rae, my swap partner for Laalaa's All Things British Swap. Don't worry Rae, I know I am early. I will post about this swap at a later date.
Today is meant to be a better day weather wise here in the South of England. I hope so as we have plans for the day! Wishing you all sunshine wherever you are, Pj x

Our wisteria is having a 2nd flowering too, not anywhere like the first, but nice to see anyway.
