My Garden in April

Each day more and more bulbs are flowering in the garden,
in many shades of blue,
pink,
yellow
and purple.
The garden is starting to look very pretty
as lots of the tulips open.

Some of the double daffodils are so heavy they don't stand up for long.

Other flowers are so tiny and delicate!

In the front garden the trees are the stars of the month,
as the pink buds open to paler blossoms on the crab apple
and the Amelanchier is a mass of ephemeral white flowers.
I love my April garden!

I too love this time of year - albeit Spring is 5 and a half weeks late this year according to 'officials' on the radio last week! No matter though, your garden has sprung beautifully - enjoy!

wow PJ I'm impressed with how many colours you've got going on there! I just love Euphorbia - that zingy green is so springy. Other than that I've got a million Grape Hyacinths but not much else in flower yet.
