A Week in Cornwall

For the rest of our week in Cornwall, we decided to visit some of the Poldark film locations, as we knew they would be beautiful places.
Dollar Cove
Gunwalloe Church Cove

Mullion Cove
Best cream tea ever!
Kynance Cove

Chysauster Ancient Village

Mulfra Quoit

Mousehold

Merry Maidens.  I can't go past a stone circle without stopping to take a look.
Cornish Cross
Porthcurno
A spot of knitting on my Together Shawl.

Porthgwarra

Sunset at Land's End

St Ives

Barbara Hepworth Museum and Studio at St Ives

This seal kept us entertained in the harbour.

Picnic with a view; one of many Cornish pasties (vegetarian in my case) consumed on this holiday!

Carn Galver

Levant Mine

Here we had a guided tour and saw a working beam engine run by steam.

Botallack Mine

The perfect place for a cream tea picnic, whilst watching the sun set over the ocean.

Discovered "Wheal Leisure"!

We made the most of each day and stayed out until the sun set.

Sunrise on our last day and time to say goodbye to our home for the week.

We weren't quite ready to leave Cornwall yet!
Holywell Bay

Bedruthan Steps

Porthcothan.

When we lived in the area, we used to take our cat on trips to this beach!

Almost time to leave, having started and ended our holiday in St Eval.

Just time to visit the St Eval Candle Co factory.

It was hard for us to tear ourselves way, but it was time to travel home.
