A Trip to Norfolk

After Fibre East we drove to Norfolk to visit my family and spent a lovely couple of days on the uncrowded beaches of North Norfolk.
The first place we stopped was Brancaster.

We found the perfect spot to land.
He went swimming and I got my knitting out.

Later we walked around the site of Branodunum Roman Fort.

Then we drove along the coast road
to Brancaster Staithe.

Then we stopped for a short walk across the fields
to Burnham Overy Staithe.
That evening we visited friends
and their cute Frenchie puppy Rolo.
The next day the weather was still glorious, so we headed to another beach, off the beaten track.  We stopped for some Geocaching en route
and for a quick look at Horsey Mill.

There were squadrons of dragonflies all around.  I have never seen so many!
We then stopped for a cup of tea at Waxham Great Barn and watched the swifts flying around.

This way to the beach.
Hardly a soul to be seen!

Knitting and swimming and a spot a tai chi were the order of the day.
We spotted a little head bobbing above the waves.
