Love You to the Moon and Back

My knitting needles and crochet hooks have been busy these past few weeks!  By the end of January I had knitted 56 hexipuffs for my beekeeper's quilt!
I have been making more than one a day to get ahead before my holiday.
They are a handy little project for car journeys.
We recently took a trip up to visit my parents in Norfolk and fuelled by a Pistachio and Rose Mocha I managed to knit a few hexipuffs on the way there.
Of course the return trip required another pit stop!

In the week leading up to Valentine's Day all my hexipuffs had hearts on them to celebrate. :)
At the beginning of the year I asked my Dad to make an Amish Yarn Swift for me and he gave this to me when we visited them.  My Dad is very handy and enjoys woodwork, so I knew that it would be beautifully made and as he crafted it, it is very special to me.
At the beginning of February I finished my Winter Wander Shawl.  It is so big that it was difficult to photograph!
The colours of the Maidenhair yarn are beautiful
and the copper-lined beads work well with these colours.
Back in November I subscribed to Little Box of Crochet.  These boxes are a treat to receive in the post each month.
This kit was intended to be a pair of wrist warmers, but I adapted them to be mitts as I will wear them more.
I have also completed this box of toadstools, which I am entering into Zena and Dani's #littlealong2016 on Revelry and Instagram.

On Valentine's Day it seemed appropriate to cast on Valentine Rabbit!  I hope to finish him this week.
My Husband and I exchanged cards on the 14th
and I baked some cupcakes for him.
We had already eaten cupcakes the previous day on our trip to Winchester, where we dined at Maison Blanc with our daughter.
My Black Forest Cupcake.
His Raspberry Passion!
He romantically gave his heart to me.
