... as I opened my son's bedroom curtains I saw a deer crossing the path behind our garden. What a lovely sight. Luckily they can't get into our back garden but OH has seen hoof prints on our allotment, which is in the next village, and they have been nibbling!
This morning I have set the potatoes to chit in the garage. Only going to grow Cara this year as we had blight rather bad last year. Also I have sown 4 varieties of chillis :- Hot Wax, Tepin, Caribbean Blend and Summer Heat.
We have primroses and cowslips out in the garden already, and green spears from lots of bulbs are pushing their way through the soil - a very welcome sight saying that spring is only around the corner.
