To Celebrate ...

... my blog's first birthday I would like to arrange a giveaway.

These are some items that I have made for the giveaway:-

lavender sachets, glass-beaded bracelets and knitted brooches.

If you are interested in taking part in this giveaway, please leave a comment on this post.

I will draw 3 names from a hat on 26th January and then the winners can
e-mail me with their addresses. Posting overseas is not a problem.

Also, I would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to Mrs L of http://unboughtdelicacies.blogspot.com/ for giving this award to me. It was such a surprise and so unexpected, thank you for thinking of me.

The rules of winning this award are lovely as I get to promote some of my favourite folk. Blogs who receive this award are 'exceedingly charming' say its authors. This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Quite a few of the blogs that I would like to have nominated have already won this award so I would like to send this award on to the following people:-
There is no obligation to collect and display, just know you are appreciated and loved.

And PS - is it really 3mm beads you need for the bags? They seem too small to go over the yarn, and I don't want to mess it all up.

Mara - just getting the tapemeasure and a hankie! (Sorry) Yes, my beads are 3mm diameter. I can't remember the make of them but they are about the same size as Mill Hill Size 6 beads. I used a needle and sewing thread to ease them onto the knitting yarn - they needed a push to go over the yarn and its tail but work well once on the yarn properly. Actually the pink bracelet in this post used some of the same beads. Hope that is a help.

Popping you in the hat, best wishes Pj x
