Mid July?

Can this really be the middle of July?  Yesterday it rained so hard!
At least the second flowering of my Wisteria is protected under the patio cover.
Mrs Blackbird had the right idea; she sheltered in the Mahonia, by our kitchen window, eating the berries.
I stayed in the kitchen baking.  Definitely the right place to be!
Boiled Fruitcake :: Banana Loaf :: Apple & Nut Loaf :: Cranberry, Pecan & Chocolate Cookies
It is the first time that I have baked the Apple & Nut Loaf.  The recipe said 170'C and knowing my oven I cooked it at 140'C, but it still caught a little on one edge.
This week on the craft front I completed and posted my parcel to Rae, my swap partner for Laalaa's All Things British Swap.  Don't worry Rae, I know I am early.  I will post about this swap at a later date.

Today is meant to be a better day weather wise here in the South of England.  I hope so as we have plans for the day!  Wishing you all sunshine wherever you are, Pj x

Our wisteria is having a 2nd flowering too, not anywhere like the first, but nice to see anyway.

I also love the picture of Mrs blackbird, sheltering from this terrible British weather!!
Your baking again looks delightful!
Hope your weekend is lovely, I am thinking of sending out a Dove, here, as it has been soo wet!
