Christmas Baking & Advent Swap

The 23rd of December was my Christmas baking day; I spent all day in the kitchen baking and decorating:-
Vanilla Fairy Cakes
topped with vanilla butter cream and icing toppers,
 Cheese and Marmite Palmiers,
 Sausage Rolls,
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Krispies sprinkled with glitter,
Chocolate Swiss Roll filled with Peppermint Butter Cream
and turned into a Yule Log,
 Gingerbread Snowmen with Chocolate Buttons,
 White Christmas Slice,
 Chocolate Cake Pop Snowballs,
Millionaire's Shortbread with Rosemary-infused, Salted Caramel
and a bowl of Brandy Butter to accompany the Christmas Puddings.
I also decorated the Christmas Cake.
This year I made a two-tiered cake and coated the white fondant with a silver shimmer spray,
before creating a cascade of pink snowflakes and white snow down one side of the cake.
Here is my final instalment of Laalaa's Advent Swap 2012.

You have been a busy baker, I was drooling over all of those, your cake is especially pretty!
Wasn't the advent swap good fun, I was a little lost on Boxing Day when it finished ;0) x

Hi Kandi, thank you for leaving a comment. Yes the Advent swap was great fun; I was rather spoilt by Ellie with all of the lovely gifts she sent to me.
My son is gradually eating his way through the Christmas cake! :)
Wishing you and yours A Happy New Year, Pj x
