Deck the Hall with Boughs of Holly

All the Christmas decorations are up:-
In the living-room the main tree is in the corner, bedecked in ribbons and lights, glass baubles and the decorations that I knitted and crocheted last year.
Bowls have been filled with baubles

and there is a twig display in the window.
Whilst the hall isn't decked with holly, it is decorated with fir cones and larch boughs.
On the front door is the star wreath that I have made with larch twigs and cones and completed with gingham ribbon and a metal snowflake from the supermarket.
In the kitchen sits my vintage tree

and an angel I made a few years ago.
Fairy lights decorate the tops of the cabinets
and get me in the mood for some Christmas baking.
I have made my Festive Chestnut Roasts
and some Mini Surprise Fridge Cakes.
The latter have all been eaten!  We have been celebrating with family
and all that I have left to do is decorate the cake, bake some cakes and savouries and finish the scrapbook I am making as a gift for my parents'.
And of course hang up my children's stockings - as my son still thinks he is young enough! :)
Best Christmassy Wishes To You All
(just in case I don't get back to Blogland before the 25th)
