Still Crafting

I know that there has been an absence of crafting on my blog recently and whilst I have been busy with birthdays, gardening, work and a holiday, I have managed to do a little crafting.  Unfortunately most of the items I have made have been for Secret Santa-style swaps so I can't blog about them, but I have been crocheting these squares for a large cushion.  The only problem is I can't decide whether I like the overall effect or not; should I add some plain cream squares to dilute the pattern?
I like the individual squares,
but can't make up my mind if they look too busy when assembled together.
Therefore this project is taking me far longer than it should!  I would really appreciate your input.  What do you think I should do please?
I am also making items for Laalaa's All Things British Swap and I will post about that later this summer.
Another problem I have in the craft department at the moment is a wandering eye!  I couldn't resist this magazine as I love camper vans.  I know I will never own one, but maybe I could have one of these cushions?
And I rather like the London skyline cushion featured on the back of the magazine!
No wonder I have so many WIPs! :)
Best wishes, Pj x

It is so difficult to contain yourself isn't it. There are just so many nice things to be crafting and making and just not enough hours in the day. I have had to re-strict myself to 2 craft projects at a time, so far it actually seems to be working and I am actually finishing things off, I just hope it continues :)

Can't wait to see the finished cushion, it is looking lovely, I don't think it looks too fussy at all, but then again they do look very pretty as individuals.
